A BRIEF HISTORY

Minera Galicia Peru, SAC started their journey in Peru in January 2020 with a vision to export minerals, metals and setup an Iron and Steel Plant.

Chicago based founding members of Minera Galicia Peru, SAC are also owners of a large Iron Ore deposit in Brazil called “Serra Morena”. With the experience and credentials, they had gained in Serra Morena to open their mine and understand the operational challenges, they went to Peru with a passion to explore and open the uncharted Peruvian Iron Ore and other mineral markets.

In a short period, Minera Galicia has opened and are mining in three Iron Ore mines in Peru, in Chimbote, Andahuaylas and Huancayo.

Minera Galicia is well positioned in Peru to export Iron Ore Lumps and Fines, Anthracite Coal, Gold and Silver, Poly Mineral Fines, Copper Concentrate and Lead.
